Corvette Driver Crashes and Injures Four in Miami-Dade
A driver was arrested after a reckless driving incident in Southwest Miami-Dade that resulted in a two-vehicle crash and left at least four people, including a teenager, injured. The accident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of Southwest 99th Avenue and 56th Street. According to investigators, the Corvette driver was driving recklessly when he collided with a minivan, which was severely damaged in the crash. Paramedics transported the four injured victims, three adults and a teenager, to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital in stable condition. The driver of the Corvette was arrested by police for reckless driving and driving without a driver’s license, and was also transported for a medical evaluation. The westbound lanes of Southwest 56th Street near 99th Avenue were temporarily closed while the police continued their investigation.
