Emergency services were alerted just before 9:30 p.m. on Monday and responded to the 1300 block of Kennedy Causeway. Two victims died on the spot, while the third individual passed away later at Jackson Memorial Hospital after being transported in critical condition. Julius Bernstein, a 24-year-old man, has been identified as a suspect in the hit-and-run case and is on the run. North Bay Village Police have described him as wanted in connection with the accident. The case has been handed over to the Miami-Dade Police. One of the cars caught fire after the collision, and footage from dashcams and cellphones captured the accident and its aftermath. Eyewitnesses recounted their experiences, including a couple who were approached by a man identified as Julius, who knocked on their door seeking help. The couple declined to assist him, and Julius left behind bloodstains on their porch.
