Margate Hit & Run Culprit Caught

A young man named Ricky Lavon Lee has been brought before a judge for his alleged involvement in a hit-and-run incident in Margate that resulted in the death of a woman and the hospitalization of two others. The judge listed the charges against Lee, which included failure to remain at the scene of an accident involving death, fleeing or disregarding injury causing death, and vehicular homicide. Lee was arrested on Friday for his suspected involvement in the single-vehicle crash, in which a BMW driver lost control, hit a tree, and caused the death of a 21-year-old passenger. Emergency responders transported another woman and a one-year-old girl to the hospital after they were rescued from the wreck. The driver reportedly fled the scene on foot.
