The most recent motor-vehicle accident to take place in Miami occurred this past Saturday when a semi-truck plunged 80-feet onto a patchy area of urban grass. At approximately 6:30 a.m., a 29 year-old trucker was operating a late model Kenworth T600 semi along the southbound lane of the Florida Turnpike. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the truck driver lost control of the vehicle when taking the off-ramp which connects to Interstate 595. The accident victim and his truck, which was hitched to a 53-foot trailer, lunged off the elevated section of the exit ramp and encountered an 80-foot drop onto a solid patch of grass in a residential area. The authorities have not reported on other injuries and are trying to determine the cause of the Miami trucking accident which resulted in a tremendous fatal crash.
