The History of Easter in an Eggshell

The Easter celebration has come a long way and evolved from being a religious celebration of peace, love, and joy, to a feast of chocolate eggs and bunny rabbits. Regardless, history tells a different tale, with the term “easter” dating back to an English Goddess named Eostre, to whom worship was rendered in early spring. This, according to the writings of a late 17th century British Monk named Venerable Bede.

To Christianity and the New Testament, the first full moon of the spring equinox symbolizes the moment when Jesus Christ resurrected into heaven after being crucified and dying outside of Jerusalem in a town called Golgatha (Arabic for ‘the place of skulls’) in 33AD. According to writings and astrologers, the Last Supper took place on Wednesday, April 1st, with his crucifixion and death on Friday, April 3rd. It is said that upon his death, the moon turned red, which symbolizes the lunar eclipse which occurred on that day. The same is expected in the southern hemisphere for this 2022. Christians believe that he rose to heaven three days later to sit by God’s side.

CAR-ACCIDENT-INJURY-LAWYER-IN-MIAMI-300x298Miami Accident Lawyer explains how to move forward quickly with your claim and obtain a speedy economic recovery after suffering injuries and losses from an accident.

Sadly, many times, the accident and injuries can affect the lives of the accident victim’s family and friends. Whenever an accident that results in severe personal injury, medical bills and expenses will start pouring-in as medical professionals and healthcare facilities want to get paid for their services just as quickly as the accident victim wants to recover.

Most often, the at-fault party will have insurance with which to cover the accident victim’s losses. However, insurance companies are in the business of making money, and thus, their insurance adjusters will find ways to either not pay, or offer settlements that fall short of covering the accident victim’s losses. In Miami, the accident lawyers at the Perazzo Law Firm understand that long distance buses sometimes break down on the road and other times are involved in accidents that lead to injuries and losses to passengers and other motorists. Most often, long distance bus accidents that occur on the highway are the result of either poor maintenance of the vehicles or human error or negligence.

When a driver or bus company employee acts negligently, which can be by failing to maintain equipment in proper manner, speeding, tailgating, or another form of negligence, accidents may happen that result in injury or death to passengers or other motorists.

The wind, unnoticed or heard unless it blows strong, can cause things fall, and when that happens, there is a chance someone may get hurt. When objects take to the air, they will fall somewhere. Strong winds are a major cause of accidents and injuries, and the staff at the Perazzo Law Firm, would like to shed light on some of the ways that strong winds can lead to accidents and injuries to Florida residents regardless of being inside or outdoors.

There are times when objects, especially those that hang or are bound to a fixture on a ceiling or wall, will become unfastened and find their way to the ground. In one such example, a large painting with a wooden frame was hanging on a wall fit with only a string hooked to a nail. When a storm approached and strong winds made their way through an open window, the painting became unfastened and fell to the ground, but not before falling on the head of a person having a cup of coffee. The wind accident victim in this case, suffered cuts and bruises and had to be treated at a hospital. The owner of the business was found liable for the injuries in a premises liability accident claim. According to the accident victim’s personal injury lawyer, the business operator should have taken the necessary safety precautions by making sure the painting was firmly bound to the wall and that a strong wind would not be enough for it to fall.
